Availability has historically been limited and demand-driven — if you want the original specifically, check their channels directly rather than relying on a reseller.
Buying from other Dubai makers
Since 2024 a number of UAE chocolatiers have made their own filled pistachio kunafa bars. This is a normal thing to happen to a category, and the useful question is not "is it the original" but "is it any good and was it made here".
What to check before you buy from any local maker:
- Is the manufacturing address in the UAE, stated plainly?
- Is pistachio near the top of the ingredient list?
- Is it halal certified, if that matters to you?
- Does the seller tell you how to store it? A maker who does not mention 18°C has not thought about Gulf logistics.
